Dean UAE Campus of EPFL Visits Library |
| Dr. Franco Vigliotti, Dean UAE (Ras Al Khaiah) Campus of EPFL visited CIIT (Islamabad Campus) library on June 5, 2012. Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne (EPFL), Switzerland, has 20th ranking all over the world in higher education institution in the field of Engineering/Technology and Computer Science, according to the ranking notified by the Shanghai Jiao Tong for 2011. EPFL is also ranked at 35 among top educational institution on the basis of overall ranking announced by QS Ranking of World Universities for 2011. During his visit to the CIIT and Library, Dr. Vigliotti, also took part in a meeting and presentation held at the state of the art Video Conferencing Room of the library. Dr. Vigliotti?s visit was part of the efforts CIIT management is making to establish academic linkages with world?s top universities and institutions. During this visit, Mr. Vigliotti, also saw different sections of the library, where Raja Muhammad Ibrahim, Head Library Information Services, briefed him about the facilities, resources and services of the library and discussed matters of mutual interest with him. |
